An exciting team challenge day which includes the skills of rock climbing, abseiling and gorge walking, combining them into a fantastic team challenge which can only be completed with teamwork.
What is the Wet & Wild Team Challenge Day?
This challenge is an amazing team building day and always gets the group working together in high spirits.
Phase 1 – the warm up!
During this process participants will work together in small teams. One member to take charge of the rope that their colleague is climbing on “belay person”, while the other member “climber” ascends to 60 feet..
This activity requires absolute concentration, maximum communication and complete trust in your team mates.
Phase 2 – the big drop!
Once each member has climbed to the top of the rock face, they will need to come back down…
During this phase participants ascend on foot to the top of the cliff, where they receive a separate safety brief before abseiling down a massive cliff just over 100 feet high!
This phase requires good listen skills and the ability to process instructions under pressure. Even members that are good with heights will feel their hearts race!
Phase 3 – the big chill!
Gorge walking involves a combination of climbing, scrambling, caving and jumping into plunge pools. This is an exciting activity with a team building twist! Everyone will need to work together and encourage their colleagues to the end.
There are alternative routes for all the sections if anyone in the group wants to miss anything out, there is also a cracking pub at the end of the activity for a wet debrief.
