The River Wye Survival Challenge is a two day event which is perfect for corporate team building, stag and hen weekends, groups of friends or individuals. As part of this adventure you’ll learn a host of bush craft, survival and paddling skills that are put to the test over a 24 mile river journey. During this event we spend one night under canvas at a riverside location, where we put our new found camp craft skills into practice and then settle round the campfire for the night gazing across the night sky’s constellations.
What does the Survival Challenge involve?
This challenge includes the four main elements of survival (Fire, Food, Shelter and Water) mixed together with canoeing skills, river navigation and river safety. Each participant has a set amount of equipment, a sixteen-foot open boat “each” to paddle solo for 24 miles down river over two days. This is a tough challenge that really brings the team together as the dynamics are put to the test…
