Record start to 2017

A great start to the season

Pirates on the River Wye

2017 has started with a bang for Ultimate and it already looks like we are on track to see a record amount of customers for the third year running! After just short winter break to recharge our instructors, the first groups started returning at the beginning January and we have even seen our first group of pirates on the River Wye!

During January & February we saw plenty of very cold Wet n Wild gorge walking groups in South Wales too. As ever this experience is proving popular with stag and hen parties that are looking for adrenaline fuelled adventure activities.

New Activities!

We have also increased our range of activities offered, and will continue to do so through the season. Through a range of brand new locations we have new activity options in North Wales, South Wales and the South West!

Brand new bunkhouse accommodation!

We have opened the first Ultimate holiday accommodation in the Wye Valley / Forest of Dean, which can sleep up to 20 guests. It includes a large dinning area and in house chef to cater for any requirements. Perfect for school groups and large families requiring a low cost accommodation option. This location is extremely close to lots of other activities such as canoeing / kayaking, mountain biking, climbing / abseiling, raft building, off road driving, clay shooting, Paintballing, Zip Wire and High Ropes.

Inside the bunkhouse. Left: Light, airy bedrooms. Right: Dining area

The bunkhouse from the outside: Plenty of parking space and lovely views.

New equipment

We have increased our fleet of Old Town canoes to join our already large existing fleet of canoes, sit on top kayaks and closed deck kayaks. We will now be able to cope with bigger groups, as well as having the best kit on the water!
