We run gorge scrambling and gorge walks in Wales and the Lake District. This activity is perfect for team building, adventure stag weekends and hen parties. This activity can be described as extreme walking and is great for those who like other adventure activities such as high ropes or coasteering in wales. We have sites all over the UK with outdoor centers and accommodation in Cardiff as well as hotels in Bristol.

What is Gorge Walking?

Trek through rivers, climb over boulders, crawl through pot holes and dive off waterfalls. This experience includes many aspects of other activities; such as climbing, walking, scrambling, swimming and diving off waterfalls. It is excellent for people of all ages and abilities, and a great activity for team building events or stag and hen parties.

Gorge scrambling is delivered as an extreme activity and involves participants interacting with each other to complete obstacles along the way

Gorge Walking is aimed towards groups that would like an interesting walk along a spectacular water course, with the option of undertaking a number of obstacles along the way.

This activity is amazing and always gets the group working together in high spirits; it involves a combination of climbing, scrambling, caving and jumping into plunge pools. There are alternative routes for all the sections if anyone in the group wants to miss anything out, there is also a cracking pub at the end of the activity for a wet debrief.

Suggested Itinerary: (Example)

  • Arrive 09:30 for meet, greet and kit up
  • Start 10:00 safety brief and warm up
  • Finishes 12:30 get changed into warm kit and move to the local pub for wet debrief or move on to next activity

Gorge Walking can be done all year round depending on weather and river levels.

What equipment do you need for Gorge Walking?

We provide everything you need to try gorge walking including all necessary safety equipment. Just wear some comfortable outdoor clothing and suitable footwear.

We are proud of our reputation of excellent safety standards, we look after everyone by ensuring that every one that goes in the gorge wears a B.A. (buoyancy aid) and a helmet, these are provided by us.

How much does Gorge Walking cost and what is included?

Prices for Gorge Walking are as follows:

Half Day: Up to 2 hours
2 – 5 People £39 pp
6 + People £35 pp

Full Day: Up to 4 hours
2 – 5 People £59 pp
6 + People £55 pp

The price included full event management, personal team instructors and all of the equipment you will need.

There is a minimum booking of 2 people for this activity.
