What is Ghyll Scrambling?
Ghyll Scrambling is a great all around outdoor activity that includes elements of climbing, scrambling, traversing and jumping into pools of water. Ghyll Scrambling is suitable for all and tailored to each group depending on your aims and ability.
Ghyll Scrambling is also similar to Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning and Coasteering. Ghyll Scrambling can be delivered on it’s own for a half or full day, or it can be part of a multi activity event.
Ghyll Scrambling is amazing and always gets the group working together in high spirits; it involves a combination of climbing, scrambling, caving and jumping into plunge pools. There are alternative routes for all the sections if anyone in the group wants to miss anything out, there is also a cracking pub at the end of the activity for a wet debrief.
Suggested Itinerary: (Example)
- Arrive 09:30 am for meet, greet and kit up
- Start 10:00 am safety brief on Ghyll and start
- Finishes 12:30 pm get changed into warm kit and move to the local pub for wet debrief or move on to next activity

What equipment do you need for Ghyll Scrambling?
We provide everything you need to try ghyll scrambling including all necessary safety equipment. Just wear some comfortable outdoor clothing and suitable footwear.
How much does Ghyll Scrambling cost and what is included?
Prices for Ghyll Scrambling are as follows:
Half Day: Up to 2 hours
2 – 5 People £39 pp
6 + People £35 pp
Full Day: Up to 4 hours
2 – 5 People £59 pp
6 + People £55 pp
The price included full event management, personal team instructors and all of the equipment you will need.
There is a minimum booking of 2 people for this activity.
